　　廣場氣勢恢宏,北端近萬平方米的中心場地,萬人集會(huì),其空間也綽綽有余。廣場東西兩側(cè)各矗立著一個(gè)巨大的電子屏,播放著當(dāng)天國內(nèi)外時(shí)事和文娛體育新聞,吸引著人,引頸眺望。北端設(shè)有國旗壇,莊嚴(yán)神圣的國旗迎風(fēng)招展,令人由衷地生出深深的敬意。登壇遠(yuǎn)望,整個(gè)廣場盡收眼底。景色蔚為壯觀,令人心曠神怡。旗壇后面是兩個(gè)大型噴泉池,噴泉噴出的水柱,風(fēng)一吹,如塵、如霧、如煙,在陽光的照耀下,顯出五光十色,美麗極了。白天,這里游人絡(luò)繹不絕。夜晚,這里燈火輝煌,宛若天上人間。廣場東側(cè)有一小型露天舞臺(tái),這里是粵曲私伙局的“戲棚”,廣大的粵曲發(fā)燒友們,經(jīng)常在此設(shè)局高歌,引來無數(shù)粵曲知音如癡如醉, 共度良宵。

　　廣場東西兩側(cè)的綠化區(qū)內(nèi),各建有若干個(gè)外觀各異的涼亭,涼亭內(nèi)除安放椅子供休閑外,還有畫有棋盤的桌子,游客可在此橫車躍馬,專心對弈,暫時(shí)忘卻鬧市之繁囂。

　　廣場四周除安裝有高桿照明燈外,還安裝有草坪燈。入夜,這些柔和迷離的燈光,給美麗的廣場平添了幾分神韻。

　　從廣場中央往南,有三座天橋與臨江的一個(gè)浮雕廣場相連。別看這個(gè)浮雕廣場雖然比中央廣場面積要小,但其文化內(nèi)涵卻十分豐富。浮雕廣場的東西邊有十二生肖的立體石雕順序排列,中間是個(gè)大型基座,基座上邊屹立著一個(gè)紅色的宛若展翅飛翔的鳳凰大型雕塑,名曰丹鳳朝陽。她象征著古老而又年輕的清城區(qū),正展翅高飛。基座北面,刻有本地詩人撰寫的《鳳城賦》,其內(nèi)容不僅濃縮了清城區(qū)的人文歷史,還贊頌了清城區(qū)人民群眾推動(dòng)兩個(gè)文明建設(shè)前進(jìn)的偉大成就?；溆嗳?均為義鳳救民傳說的浮雕,把鳳城之由來作出了詳細(xì)的詮釋。夾峙浮雕基座,東西矗立著六根圓柱型的凸雕六福柱,依次為和合福、慈孝福、好德福、康寧福、富貴福、長壽福。這六福柱浮雕,濃縮著清城區(qū)六十多萬兒女的傳統(tǒng)美德和聰明才智,這些浮雕,呈現(xiàn)在人們面前的不僅僅是一種景觀,更多是留給人們對艱辛歷史的思憶與對光明未來的展望。

　　從浮雕廣場再往南走是一處親水平臺(tái),我們沿著一層層臺(tái)階走到平臺(tái)邊,可以遠(yuǎn)望北江對岸新市區(qū)錯(cuò)落有致的高樓巨廈,可以縱覽北江江面上的許多漁船和貨船。

Fengcheng Square

    Fengcheng square located at the side of beautiful Beijiang River, in front of the Administrative Center of Qingcheng district government. Fengcheng square was officially opened on September 28, 2006, it was built with the idea of novel, distinctive,leisure, entertainment, culture, sports and green. From the cultural aspect shows the geographical advantages of Qingcheng District, highlighting the long history and sense of humanities delivery; In the planning aspect, it gathered pavilions, sculptures, flowers and trees in the corner that embodying the time spirit and the fusion of nature, as well as the harmony of human and ecology.

    With an area of nearly ten thousand square meters, the magnificent square is large enough to accommodate more than thousands of people to gather here. There is a huge electronic screen on the east and west side of the square, which is playing the domestic and international events and entertainment sports news,attracting people to look over it. The northern end stands a flag tower, the sacred flags are fluttering in the breeze which make people sincerely respect it. You’ll be rewarded by the spectacular panoramic view of the entire square when you stand on the tower. Behind the flag tower there are two large-scale fountains, the fountains even more beautiful and glowed in the sunshine. During the day, lines of visitors flocked here. The square is even more romantic and fascinating in the late evenings under the neon lights alongside the river. On the eastern side of the square is a small open-air stage, it is the drama studio of Cantonese Opera private partnerships.
